Alien Amphibian & Reptile Surveys

Surveys of Alien Amphibian & Reptile species are carried out under the auspices of Alien Encounters - a sub-set of NARRS.

This is on a totally separate website which can be found at http://www.alienencounters.org.uk.

The site includes comprehensive information about the alien species known to have some presence within the United Kingdom. Some of these are regarded as invasive and representing a threat either directly or indirectly to our native species. Others seem to have no observable impact.

NARRS is led by Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (ARC) in partnership with ARG UK and many other partners. Through volunteer-based surveys, we aim to monitor the conservation status of all UK amphibian and reptile species. Click on the buttons or links to each side for more information.
Following feedback from users we have made substantial changes to the appearance and usability of this website. We hope you approve but your feedback will always be welcome.
